About Us
As with many, Joni grew up with a passion for animals, dogs in particular. Her reputation for dragging home strays, including rabbits, crows, pigeons, and of course dogs was well known within her family and friends. In 2000 she adopted a springer spaniel from the local animal shelter and enrolled him in obedience and agility with Rocky Mountain Dog Training, hoping the activities would help him become more confident and secure. The rest is history!
Joni is very active with agility (NADAC) and obedience, which includes feestyle, tricks, rally, and CGC (Canine Good Citizen). She also has been certified with Alliance of Therapy Dogs since 2003, and is very involved with Musical Dog Sport Association, currently as an officer holding the position of Secretary.
